Mobile Trading
As an IG Markets account holder you have access to our free mobile dealing software, allowing you to trade on forex wherever you are.
Our sophisticated and reliable mobile trading platform has been specially designed to allow you to trade all our markets on the move, and comes equipped with a range of functions so you can deal as normal.
Why use mobile dealing?
The mobile platform provides a simple and easy-to-use way of keeping you in touch with the markets whenever and wherever you need:
- Deal as normal - Once you have found a market you want to trade, select it for a Deal Ticket and with just one 'click' you can trade as usual
- Full range of markets - Find the same markets as we offer on our PureDeal platform, including Forex major and exotic pairs
- Simple Navigation - Navigating is easy, with the main menu divided into six main functions: Watchlists, Open Positions, Order to Open, Finder, Settings and Log off
- Monitor your portfolio - Keep up-to-date with your portfolio wherever you are, with full access to Open Positions and Orders to Open
- Full Ordering facility - Place Stops* and Limits as you would normally, with the Orders to Open feature
Mobile features
Here are the main menu features of our mobile dealing platform:

The Watchlist section allows you to browse all the markets in your own Watchlists, which is particularly useful for monitoring a particular market or group of favourites.
In this section you can keep track of positions you currently have open, with a running profit/loss balance for each instrument that updates with every market move. The latest price is also displayed here, and you can also bring up a Deal Ticket to open a position.
This section displays a list of your current Orders to Open, allowing you to delete or amend an order, or place Stops and Limits as you would on PureDeal.
Here you can easily search for the market or currency pair you are interested in, using the instrument hierarchy. You can monitor them here, or place an order.
Once you have selected your market, you can produce a snapshot chart based on our latest live price. Set up the chart according to your preferences, with options for Data Points, Style and Timescale. To produce your chart, select Menu from your chosen market, and Get Chart. Then choose your preferred parameters and select Submit.
