We are pleased to support a wide range of payment types to allow you to receive and deposit funds in your IG Markets account.
This page details the ways in which you can withdraw funds from your account. You are able to make and withdraw most payments within our advanced PureDeal dealing platform, using the My Account section.
Get a Payment
You will receive an email confirmation once your withdrawal has been processed.
Withdrawals of less than ¥5,000,000 will be deposited into the designated bank accounts the following business day for requests received by 2.30pm JST weekdays.
IG Markets will pay for domestic bank charges for withdrawals of more than ¥5,000. We cannot transfer funds to a third party account, it is only possible to transfer funds to customer designated accounts.
You can only withdraw an amount up to the difference between your account equity and the required margin for any open positions that you may have. You may be charged for any fees that may be incurred for international (non-Japanese) withdrawals. A charge of ¥315 is applied to payment requests of less than ¥5,000.
It could take up to three working days for the funds to reach your designated account in the case of withdrawals over ¥5,000,000.
If holding open positions, make sure to leave enough margin balance in your account when making withdrawals. Otherwise, your positions may be liquidated, or we may be not be able to process your withdrawal.
