We are pleased to support a wide range of payment types to allow you to receive and deposit funds in your IG Markets account.
This page details the ways in which you can pay in funds to your account. You are able to make and withdraw most payments within our advanced PureDeal dealing platform, using the My Account section.
Deposit
We welcome payments using any of the following methods:
- Best Receiver deposit (yen only)
- Bank Transfer (USD and yen)
Best Receiver deposit account
Best Receiver deposit accounts are unique bank account numbers set up at Mizuho Bank by IG Markets and sent to new customers upon successful IG Markets application. Each account number is unique to your IG Markets account, allowing for secure transfers and speedy verification of remittances by IG Markets.
Once you have your Best Receiver number, you can deposit funds into your personal dedicated Best Receiver account from any high-street ATM or via online banking.
Best Receiver accounts can only accept yen transfers from banks based in Japan.
Bank Transfer allows you to remit US dollars into your USD IG Markets trading account.

24H Connect deposit (subsequent deposits)
Customers who have an online account at the following banks can transfer funds into their IG Markets account using our 24H Connect deposit service. Funds can be remitted at any time (unless System maintenance) and will be deposited to your FX trading account.

- Mizuho Bank
- Mitsui Sumitomo Banking Corporation
- Japan Net Bank
- Rakuten Bank
- SBI Sumishin Net Bank
To deposit funds, simply select the relevant bank in our trading system, enter the amount you would like to deposit and click on the 'Launch Online Banking Screen' button. You will be redirected to the online banking page of the selected bank, from where you can complete the transaction with your bank.
Our 24H Connect service is only available for transferring yen from the banks listed above. Bank Transfer allows you to remit US dollars into your USD IG Markets trading account.
Please note, during the period of maintenance for each bank, this service is unavailable. When you transfer funds, you should also pay the transfer fee. For further details please contact your bank.
Attention:
In the event that it is discovered your funds transfer has been made from a different bank account holder, we must cancel your transactions and trading history with immediate effect, even if the relevant funds have already been deposited into your trading account and spent to trade on our system. We are not responsible for any risks or consequential losses caused by such operations.
Please also note that your funds transfer may not be reflected in your account balance immediately as we conduct check on your registered information from the viewpoint of the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds.
Transfer funds for US Dollar accounts
Funds can be transferred from all international high-street banks. Sort codes are not needed for domestic transfers. When you transfer funds of US dollar, you should pay for all handling by yourself. And please note that it might take few days until our receipt of deposit.
